My name is Jessica Jayroe, and I am your child's 8th grade English/Language Arts teacher.
I was born and raised right here in Hernando, and I am honored to teach in the community I love so much. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in May of 2013, and this year will be my 10th year teaching at HMS, as well as my 9th year to teach Accelerated English.
My husband, Rich, and I were married in the summer of 2018 and we are very much a House Divided (Ole Miss/MS State). We welcomed our first child in December 2020, we have a golden retriever named Bentley, and we attend Colonial Hills Church in Hernando.
I am looking so forward to investing in the life of your child as we journey through the school year together. Here's to a great 2022-2023; Go Tigers!
