Ms. Smith is excited to being her first year at Hernando Middle School as the Director of Middle School Choirs. She received her Bachelors Degree in Choral Music Education from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is excited to return to her hometown roots in Hernando, Mississippi. She is a Hernando Singers alumni, and she is incredibly passionate about encouraging young performing artists to achieve their goals inside and outside of the classroom! Ms. Smith currently serves on the Board of Directors with Kudzu Playhouse, and is heavily involved with the musical theatre community in Desoto County. With various credits including vocal direction, choreography, and stage direction, she is excited to share her love for performing arts with all of Hernando Singers & Desoto County Schools this year!
